Most open 6 nations in years. Aside from Italy all the others can win itI agree with that but I think England are carrying too many injuries going in to the first game against Wales and hopefully the Celtic nations will all come out on top.

I think it's going to be a long tournament for wales. The rest of the nations have been building towards this year and are peaking now. Gatland has just continued with crash ball to beat teams in transition. It's between us and Italy for wooden spoon imo. My prediction for the final table would be:
Ireland
England
France
Scotland
Wales
Italy
Hopefully they'll prove me wrong

Can't wait, should be a cracking game and a great day. Hopefully, help lift the mood after the football we have had to put up with this year.Wales should have a good chance with all of England's injuries and, they tend to do well if they start off a Six Nations campaign with a win. However, to my mind, any country that leaves someone with James Hook's innate talent out of their squad doesn't really deserve to succeed and when I think back to the promise we showed in 2011, it's hard not to believe that Gatland is taking us backwards.

The way Hooks been treated over the last 3 to 4 years is shameful, maybe he is/was too versatile for Gatland who prefers specialist players.
And this crash ball stuff though effective is boring and is stifling the natural flair that we were noted for

At the rate players are dropping out I am taking my boots along just in case.
Qualified to play for both sides so looks like I may get my first (and only ) cap especially as England are down to about two players.

Who do you think is going to win the 6 Nations this year? Do you think Wales are up for it?
Us or Ireland.
Is that Northern Ireland as in Gerry Armstrong, Mary Peters etc. or is it the Republic as in Michael Collins and 1916. Or is it two countries combined...which makes it the 7 nations. Hey wait, Scotland rejected independence, so how can they suddenly have the same status as France? No, they are in Britain...which is one nation we were told in 2012....but team GB wouldn't include Northern Ireland? Sorry Brendan. And Wales and Italy are nations now of equal status!
