What a film. It's about Afghanistan and the American/Saudi/British/Russian etc involvement there over the last 50-60 years. Exposing some shocking truths. What a bed we've helped make. Shameful for our governments.

It's on BBC iplayer well worth sticking with (over 2 hours!)

Yep - I watched it as well. Pretty much a leftist analysis of the influence of the west on the Arab world (which suits me), but at the very least Curtis has made efforts to understand the history, geography and people of Afghanistan. That is more than you can say for the Governments, military, and intelligence services of the "West". Visually stunning too (the documentary - not Curtis)!
