According to a club insider, Morrison proved a huge hit on the first day with the Bluebirds - so much so that a number of players felt that their chances of promotion has improved dramatically overnight.

However it wasn't long before the facade began to slip.

On that very same first day, Morrison refused to eat lunch with the rest of the squad - the result of being embarrassed by the condition of his teeth. And before long, the same problems that have dogged the midfielder throughout his fledgling career rose to the surface.

As per his time at Manchester United and West Ham, Morrison began to fail to attend training sessions - and by the end of his spell in Wales, was only turning up when he wanted to.

The insider also reported that Morrison also refused to accept the fines he was set by Cardiff for his disciplinary issues, informing his (temporary) employers that he would simply not pay them.

During his three month stay in Wales, the England Under 21 international made seven appearances for the Bluebirds - but failed to complete a single full match. He flew to Italy earlier this week to undergo a medical ahead of a free transfer move to Lazio.

However it wasn't long before the facade began to slip. surely you would have thought he wouldn't have said like he did that Daehli and Guerra were further down the pecking order than someone who didn't even turn up for training...very strange.

I wonder if other clubs always end up with the social misfits that we seem to attract. We always seem to attract players with some sort of baggage.

I wonder if other clubs always end up with the social misfits that we seem to attract. We always seem to attract players with some sort of baggage. We're guilty of the same generalising about places. Basically if it's not in London we've got work harder to get players here. We've always had to pay over the odds for the quality of the players we get.

There is a lot goes on inside football clubs that we know nothing about. We complain when players leave for no apparent reason and call the manager an idiot(myself included). When you hear something like this it makes you wonder. To fair most footballers are like kids but with loads of money in their pocket. I would'nt fancy having to manage them it must be very very frustrating.Be fair city kept this within house i wonder how many more stories are floating about with the current departures.

Nothing's changed about our geographical location. Most people not from here consider that it's the arse end of the Universe occupied by weird Welsh speaking inbreds who only support rugby and are covered in Coal dust.Feck 'em if they all want to play in 'that London' they can beg Hounslow FC or Tokyngton Manor to give them chance... http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/smiley.gif
