Interesting to read Lambert's statement particularly what he says about his remit and conversation with Randy Lerner when he was appointed. Could be very similar to the conversation between Russell Slade and Vincent Tan.

I think that FFP is going to have a bigger effect on clubs than we think particularly those outside the Premier League.

Sounds like a fairly decent bloke. Seems he realised that they had both come to the end of the road together without any bitterness.
