Can any fans who were there tell us what the Wigan fans reaction to this was? The last time I went to Wigan was in Alan Corks last game in charge. We were stuffed 4-0, but in that game, our former player Simon Haworth did the ayatollah. Wigan fans went ballistic and I don't think he hardly played for them again.
Don't think Malky is flavour of the month for them up there, I don't think doing the ayatollah would have done him any favours with the Wigan fans.
