"You take the blue kit - the story ends. You wake up in your bed and belive we are making progress under Russell Slade."

"You take the red kit - you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep my pockets go."

Even if Tan agreed entirely with the sale it'd still end up being a 'hostile takeover' with Norris roundhouse-kicking Tan out of a window before picking his shades off the floor and wearing them as a memento of his triumph.

I ****ing hope he doesn't. I am a HUUUUGE Rabbitohs fan (USED TO PLAY FOR THEM) and he has done wonders for the club bringing it back from the brink of death. He will do the same for Leeds.

Russell Crowe brought an ailing sleeping giant of a club who hadn't had any success since the 70's and were effectively broke and turned them into the powerhouse of the NRL.

The Rabbitohs have the most members (over 30000), are current champions and are also world and nines champions.
14 years ago they were kicked out of the league (a league where there is no relegation or promotion) for being so shit!

If he were to take over a club, rest assured they would improve out of sight, he has absolute hands on experience with running a sporting club and huge success in doing so.

Leeds being a rugby league stronghold means that people there already know of and respect his sporting pedigree, wheras those outside of league might have no idea of how ell he has done.

The legend even missed the Oscars to watch a match!

Oh and when he took over the club he created a Members Company (like a supporters trust) that would always get final say in the club colours, location and mascot!!!!!!!!

He also has experience in bringing down a tyrant.

Lots of people have experience with running football teams and businesses in the UK have already failed. Crowes celebrity status would only matter for a short time in football.

I wonder why the other owners hadn't thought of that. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/Dsmile.gif
