They were too good for that league. However, good to see Goytre FC took the reserves division East league off them last year.

it ain't pointless it's a potential gateway to play european football . the likes of TNS would never have a chance to get into europe if they went down the english route

Not over yet.
Big battle with Goytre and Haverfordwest for 2nd as surely Caerau will win the title now.
Great to see too as they seem to be mostly local boys.
As for the Met, surely the travelling in the Premier will take its toll on them.

Not over yet.I find it quite exciting actually- if marketed properly could get a decent following amongst the students in South Wales and football fans in general. Could get the league some positive attention. Hope so anyway. It's a decent standard of football for like £3?

father if they come top or second they will apply to go in

of all the sides in south east wales they are probably the best in terms of finance .they have good resources and also have a very decent set up . The 3/4 g pitch over there is top notch

as for admission i would say you would be looking between 6-10 pounds for adults . hope they do it

will be interesting to see what they do with the players as students usually hang around for the max of 3 years . Think they will have to recruit outside the student boundaries in terms of players

Would be great to see Barry Town up there again if they can win another promotion next year. Remember games against Inter Cardiff at Jenner and the old Leckwith stadium.

Personally I can see Haverfordwest taking 2nd place.

Cardiff Met. always seem to struggle during half term holidays. I imagine a lot of their side have gone home to their off-term homes. By the time they return they may already be out of the race?

cardiff met won 1-0 against britton ferry yesterday to go top of the table

with only 2 games to go it's looking good for them to get into the welsh prem

Anyone know the reasons for Bangor not meeting the requirements?

They are the only side of any note, from a potential fan base perspective, in that League. Not good news for the League if they lose their place for admin (as opposed to on-field) reasons.

if havorfordwest lose today cardiff met will finish runners up in the league and will deffo be in the welsh prem next seasonDon't know if Caerau wanted to go up, it is a big step after all financially if nothing else, but if they did want to you'd have thought they'd have enquired about the Athletics stadium. After all it's just down the bypass from their ground.

Watched the Caerau game on Tuesday and first half was well contested .
Their first goal was a cracker and there are a couple of decent players there.
Overall though the standard doesn't seem great, when you consider that these are the top sides at this level.

The pitch was also very bumpy which didn't help.

Great to see a local side do well and it seems without a great deal of financial backing too.
The manager Nana Baah seems to have done a great job, they are well organised and work very very hard.
The discipline seems decent as well , especially considering there were notes in the programme referring to this dipping a few years back.

Worthy champions and the fight is now on for the all important 2 nd place
