private parking ticket

got a ticket down in tenby
I actually paid the parkin fee of 2 quid
but it took me 8 minutes to get the money in the machine
they've sent me a fine for £35 for the 8 minutes I was without the said parking ticket

As far as i am aware they cant do that, hell it could take you that amount of time to find a parking space in tenby

Money in the metre etc - sounds like the Council - you need to pay the Council ones - and ignore the rest

I had a fine ticket in Dartmouth council Pay & display car park a few years ago. My screen ticket I had bought fell off into the floorwell. I went around to Totnes council HQ, where I spoke to somebody and explained the situation. It cost me £6.00 to cancel the fine. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif
