What is your biggest regret regarding Cardiff City or missing an event at Ninian Park? Ever missed a City game you wished you had been at, but for some dumb-assed reason, never made?

Myself, having been a City fan since Oct '68 I've witnessed just about every good occasion at Ninian Park.

However, the one thing I do regret was missing Bob Marley & The Wailers playing there in June '76. The weather was crap that day, I was still in school so didn't have much cash. Also at the time didn't know much about the man apart from his 'No Woman No Cry' single. He was however touring in support of his best (IMHO) album 'Rastaman Vibration'

Wishing i had stayed at home for that Leeds FA Cup match.

I had come down with a severe bug the night before but convinced myself i could soldier thru the day. Few pints would make me feel better.
Little did i know i would spend the entire game on my hands and knees in 2 inches of piss in the filthy portaloos at the back of the Bob Bank.

Man City in the FA Cup as I couldn't get a ticket (bloody plastics).

As a whipper snapper I used to sit in the Canton Stand so Blake's goal would have been right in front of me as well http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/sad.gif

Missing the Man utd game in 74. Even though I had a ST my dad said I couldn't go, so I didn't. Didn't even put up a fight let alone pretend I was off to the pictures or something.

7 April 1980 CARDIFF CITY (Billy Ronson)1-0 swansea city.
I went to Porthcawl with my sister instead of the City.
I was 12, I guess I did n`t realise the significance of the game back then and the lure of the 1p pushers was just too much!

Not shagging Rachel when her tits flopped out of her dressing gown in 1981. Lovely upturned puppies they were, we had an embarrassed moment then nothing happened. Foolish boy pike

Not shagging Rachel when her tits flopped out of her dressing gown in 1981. Lovely upturned puppies they were, we had an embarrassed moment then nothing happened. Foolish boy pikeThat reminds me, as a nervous 18 yr old (had just left an all boys catholic school) my then, "top end" girlfriend announced that she and her equally top end, best mate had, shall we say, experimented with each other. Whilst I was still reeling from this news, she suggested she invite her friend to join us at which point I bottled it.

Got a few. Missed the 3-3 with the Jacks and the last minute Buchanan Exocet. Wales v Brazil at Ninian Park, only because my favourite team of all time is the Brazil team of 82 and most of that team were at Ninian in 83, including one of my all time favourites in Zico. Also missed the Scotland game in 85, gutted I missed that one now, as I never experienced a crowd that size for a game at Ninian Park. Think the highest crowd I was at, was Wales v England in 82, think there were about 25K there for that game. The Scotland game had nearly 40K.

Have attended virtually all the pivotal / legendary games over the past twenty odd years but I do think I should've made more of an effort to get to the Carling Cup Final.

Just didn't get ma sh1t together for this one for some reason so got smashed the night before and woke up late morning to find missed calls and texts about a spare ticket and lift

Still enjoyed the spectacle on the box though

In all seriousness here, I was 15 living in Tredegar and my mate from Cardiff was going to sort it out.It was pandemonium on that Sunday. I have never seen such a ticket frenzy.

Next thing I knew was we didn't have a ticket.Me neither, I've never seen anything like it, far more people than any play off and Cup Final ticket frenzys I've seen. Don't remember it raining though, I remember a sunny Sunday morning.
