i tend to uise google.co.uk as my homepage for searches as many probably do

just recently my homepage has been changing itself from google.co.uk to .com http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif

making all my searches .com usa or other related... i dont even spot it half the time and its driving me mad, i tap in amazon or ebay for example and i get amazon.com or ebay.com

ive changed it back to .co.uk around 20/30 times now and it keeps changing itself back

anyone else have any issues like this

driving me bonkers now

First question, as asked above is what browser are you using - in Firefox you can go into about:config and set the homepage. Not sure about the others but there'll be a way - changing your homepage won't cut the mustard.

Try following the steps on this link...

How to fix Firefox search to use the local Google search (http://westhouseit.co.uk/tech-blog/how-to-fix-firefox-search-to-use-the-local-google-search/)

Perhaps when you installed Firefox, you selected US settings.
