Not available through any official sources any longer.

There is more than one version of XP , and you would likely need the correct disk / ISO version
i.e.
XP Home? XP Professional? XP Media Centre?

(There was an XP Pro 64bit too was a relatively rare version).

Are you sure no XP disk / rescue disk came with your PC, or maybe some utility on the PC to create rescue disks?

It really is time to move on from XP though http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/smiley.gif - it cant really be patched up securely any longer.

Most people have an old XP CD lying about somewhere - any of your friends got one to lend you? (quite legit to do that - it's the licence that is unique).
If it is the same version you are good to go.

I dumped my beloved XP Professional this time last year. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/sad.gif Windows 8.1 boy now, waiting for my free upgrade to 10. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif Windows 10 is a free upgrade, for a limited time, for qualified Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices (including devices you already own). It is our intent that most of these devices will qualify, but some hardware/software requirements apply and feature availability may vary by device. The availability of Windows 10 upgrade for Windows Phone 8.1 devices may vary by OEM, mobile operator or carrier. Devices must be connected to the internet and have Windows Update enabled. ISP fees may apply. Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 Update required. Some editions are excluded: Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 8/8.1 Enterprise and Windows RT/RT 8.1. Active Software Assurance customers in volume licensing have the benefit to upgrade to Windows 10 enterprise offerings outside of this offer. To check for compatibility and other important installation information, visit your device manufacturer's website and the Windows 10 Specifications page.Dunno what this Cortana is all about? Used to like the Mk 2. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/tong.gif

download your self any amount of windows xp you want http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif or i have a windows 7 on usb stick if you want to update slightly... but as with any reinstall you will lose anything on your pc as it is, but id have thought you are going to lose it anyways as i doubt any attempt at recovery repair will work anyways...when your back up and running try using a driver update prog saves these types of crashes and errors from happening, i use driver revivor and it works pretty well

XP was the last decent operating system that Microsoft managed. It's been a tale of woe since.
