I was looking for months and couldn't find any flights for under £300.I was planning to just go for 3 nights but it would have ended up costing me £500+.So I'm now going for 7 nights staying in a 5* Hotel on Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa for £640.I booked this about 6 weeks ago with Low Cost Holidays flying from Gatwick http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/sad.gif with Norwegian on a very early flight so we arrive at 1pm so get most of the day there when we arrive as many of the flights I saw arrived late in the evening and when coming back I'm leaving at 10pm so again I get a full day there flying back with Monarch.Only problem with this was the missus is coming too as there was no way she would give me a 7 day pass on a Wales away trip especially to Ayia Napa http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif We fly out on the Saturday 29/08 and get back in time for the Israel match. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif

Ayia Napa for a week. All flights are costly, but booking two separate flights is your best bet. Norwegian Airlines have afternoon flights south of £100 outbound; inbound is a different matter entirely.

Is Ercan airport in Northern Cyprus an option?

Yes Fatty Ercan is a good option....flights with Turkish airline from birmigham/heathrow/gatwick or pegasus from luton/stanstead/gatwick/machester.
Other ailine is air onen from stanstead and luton.

All flights into ercan have to land at istanbul first by law. i have done this route many times.

Im staying in Northern Cyprus and have transport arranged for match day leaving from Georges bar in Kerenyia and back after match.

If anyone wants any info please contact me. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif

Not many Russians here now Harry, sanctions and the dodgy Ruble have put pay to them coming over here!

i wouldnt be seen dead in paphos, pathos is amazing and my holiday resort of choice every time I go to cyprus, at least until the tourist masses and the russians find it. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/Dsmile.gif

Same here, would be looking at over £700 for a 5 day trip (flights and accommodation). Plus whatever else there is to spend during, don't think I can justify it unfortunately. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/sad.gif

Anyone doing Bosnia instead?

Word of warning lads.
I went back in 91 or 92 year when we won 1 0 over there.
As soon as about us 1500 Welsh fans left the stadium and got into the car park outside we were all ambushed by hundreds of men with sticks and knives etc.
It was a total nightmare.
They are fooking mental over there.
