What a brilliant fekin episode that was.
Thought the series as a whole was a little disappointing till these last few episodes. But what a way to finish.

Not seen this yet, but I've read the books...

...but there's been a hell of a divergence recently.
At this rate, the producers will finish off the story before the next book is out, and with a totally different conclusion.

Just watched it now - last week's was uncomfortable viewing to be fair, I think it's on Sky at 9pm (it was on at 2am but series link didn't record at 2am) so many will not have seen it. So, no spoilers right http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/wink.gif

Did anyone see the prog on GRR Martin last week?
After Lord of the Rings was made, Hollywood was looking for another fanasty, but Martin said a firn NO when they said it was too big and wanted to cut it.
But when the producers came to him with proposals for a series,
they had a long talk in which he asked them "who is Jon Snow's mother?" - which they speculated correctly!

So I believe he will be brought back by the witch, the identity of his mother becomes important, Arya will end up there somehow, and the white walkers will be rubbed out by Dany and her dragons, who will claim the Throne, will the Imp as her advisor.

The next book should be out next year, but series 6 may be ahead of it with the pace they're going.
