I've got an ipod classic, which I love and it will contain all the music I will ever want with plenty of space to add new. I play it through various devices but mainly through a 'Pure' Avanti system.

I want to get a music system for my parents, but dont want to buy a classic as they are over £150 (when available), what other viable options are there ?? Needs to hold a couple of thousand tracks and a system on which to play it on.

Thanks

Get a cheap MP3 player with enough gigabytes for your music and buy a cheap Bluetooth speaker to stream wirelessly

There's thousand to choose from http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif

OK, I know the purists talk about the loss of quality but it's amazing. And to be able to select different selections of music for different moods and events is one of life's true wonders.
