Would never had had him as a top top axeman but,
Some of the riffs he has put together demonstrated in the video are excellent IMO, there are many many great guitarists in south wales who can play just about anything, but its the construction of the riffs that the majority struggle with.

Not a Manics fan of any note BTW.

Thank you for posting this! He must be the most diversely talented musician Wales has ever produced.

Always been impressed by him every time I've seen them live, not just his playing but his vocals as well.

He's never comfortable talking to camera.
Even after all this time.

Great guitar player.
Has been the perfect frontman for that particular band too.

Even after all this time.Oddly enough I found the opposite. Met them in the arcade where Kiwi's is/was a long time ago. Him Richey and Wire were there looking in an 'army and navy' type store just before the release of Holy Bible. I had an Anthrax Killer B's t-shirt on. They had played St Davids a bit before and he was really friendly and interested in what they were like etc. I had just bought the New Art Riot EP in Spillers and looked really sad when I asked them to sign it. Had a good chat about music and stuff with all of them. Made our goodbyes and shook hands etc. Once they had walked off my girlfriend turned to me and said 'do you know them or are they famous or something?'. Bless her, nice tits but no ****ing idea!

What a great sound from his Fender Jazzmaster , blows his Tele thin line and Les Paul Custom away.
