8 hrs. LIVE on S4C plus evening highlights. A criminal waste of taxpayers money with the plethora of the usual commentators like pigs with their snouts in the trough!!!

It's a wonderful event and I would recommend it to all and sundry on here.

It's a place where the whole of Wales can get together and meet in both Welsh and English. An opportunity to show off the best there is in the Welsh food and drink industry, and a chance to meet all the movers and shakers in the Welsh business scene.

Some great side shows too from Red Arrows to motorbike displays and from Hungarian horseman to tree logging and everything in between.

Stop the cynicism and get your arses up there! http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif

We should be pushing vegetarianism as the way to live , far better use of land and less world hunger It's only grasses that can flourish there and beef cattle and sheep are the best converters of grass into protein - ie beef, mutton and lamb.

And far healthier too It was only when Yoko advised him that a world without bacon was so utterly implausible that Lennon had another rethink. A true story, most probably.

Not sure how well it would translate to TV but certainly a great day out.
I say that as a confirmed non countryside person with zero interest in farming.
You just get caught up in the feel good atmosphere of people being positive about their locality, produce and way of life.
Well worth a visit and even the most cynical may be pleasantly surprised.
