I've got mixed feelings about this news if it's true.

Isn't it just a bit of haggling?

I hope he stays.

All football teams need a decent spine. It is vital City have such an experienced and quality keeper.

Whilst Marshall does have his "moments", there is no doubt he is one of the best in the league. Moore may have some qualities he just does not convince. IMO having Marshall in goals can only enhance the team.

I hope he stays.I think Moore will come good given game time but I'd rather Marshall were between the sticks at the moment.

West Brom have been in negotiation with a goalkeeper currently at Man Ure for the last couple of weeks. I don't know which keeper but I assume it's Lindegaard as he's been told he can go.

This may be in case the Marshall deal falls through but why pay £5m for an international keeper when you can get one for free?

Also since the Marshall story broke Myhill has signed a new contract.

Marshall may well still go to West Brom but they are not sitting back and waiting for it to happen, they're already actively looking for alternates.

I'd like him to stay but I think we could do with the money to spend on a midfielder a bit more

I'd like him to stay but I think we could do with the money to spend on a midfielder a bit more Really can't see all the money going back into the transfer kitty with the size of our debt, slade would be lucky to have half of it so I hope Marshall stays he is worth about 10 points per season with the saves he makes
