Every ten minutes the pilot comes back to shout in your face:

"Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Henry Cooper, Lady Diana, we have beaten them all, we have beaten them all. Maggie Thatcher, can you hear me? Maggie Thatcher... your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating!"

Yes, I used them to fly back from Finland (having flown out to Estonia with a different airline). They were fine.

they started to fly the Orlando route last year, reports were good, they use the new dreamliner on that route ( and from memory they were going to use it for all long haul flights )

they were having a issue with the pilots not being licensed for international flight, but i am sure they solved that problem

How come the US doesn't mind people coming from Dublin?its bloody great if going to Orlando, as 5 planes arrive at a very similar time if you fly direct from the UK, 2 planes from london, 2 from Manchester and one from Germany, they often arrive within 30 mins of each other, the staff at MCO often put the first planes in a further gate, so it means the arrivals hall is often full and takes over 2 hours to get seen, not great, so the dublin route is good and you are often out of the airport in 30 mins

Thanks for the replies all.

I have heard of the Dublin route, always been put off as I'm travelling with two children and I've been put off with all the messing around that comes with connections. Maybe I should look into that more?

If anyone does fly them in the next week or three maybe let me know and I'll make a decision.
We normally always fly with Virgin but lately, their service has gone to shit.
