Just curious as to how much holiday people get in different careers. Also what is it you do? I get 24 days but don't feel like it's enough to get away and see friends abroad etc...considering a career change one day for more balance...

Depends what you mean by holiday.

If you mean "paid leave", then none.

I'm self employed.

If I take time off, I don't earn.

If you work 5 days a week you are entitled to 28 days holiday which includes public/bank holidays.

35 plus public holidays. I tend to use most of it to have the summer off each year, went back last week :(

24 a year + public holidays, one of those 24 has to be taken over Xmas on a designated 'office closed' day.

None. I'm a fulltime csrer for my parents so i'm on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I last had a holiday five years ago but then I took them with me when they were still well enough lol.
