An utter embarrassment.

Never have a host country gone out in the qualifying rounds before, be ashamed, be very ashamed.

Australia look the best team in this.

Strange fixture for Wales next week now, winning the group could be massive but resting players in an injury ravaged squad equally so.

Nevertheless, always funny to see England lose, especially as hosts.

No gloating from me as I really like Lancaster. He is a thoroughly decent man unlike that cock Lord bald.Agree with all of that. Feel for Lancaster because we all know him and probably a couple of the players at most will be completely hung out to dry for this when in reality, no one performed well enough.

New Zealand look rusty and will progress into the quarter-finals having not really been challenged, South Africa stumbled at the start but have come back stronger and look certain to win their group and physically bully whoever they face next, Australia look like they have the set-pieces and the skill to go far.

Big call in the England camp now. Lancaster has set up the foundations for something big so will the new man take it onto the next level, will it all crumble and they'll have to start again, will there be a new man at all?

Wales qualifying was a magnificent result before the injuries set in so anything more can be treated as a bonus.

If we lose and play South Africa then I think we can beat them but then New Zealand in semi's probably beyond us......no shame in that with our depleted squad.

Watched the game in a pub in Amsterdam, full of English. The last five minutes, one fat prick continually chanted "rolf Harris" and "Paedo" every time an Aussie touched the ball. The looks on the faces of the three Aussie blokes in there were of utter disgust, even the other English fans looked embarrassed and backed me up when I asked him if he'd heard of Jimmmy saville.

runners up play the boks who look shaky, nothing to fear there so rest players and go flat out in the QF Scotland Seeth Afreeca game was the most important for us today, could have done with the sweaties getting a bonus point against them and would have meant putting out a nothing side against the Ozzies next week. As it stands, we're still in a must win game next week so the boys then have two week's rest before Seeth Afreeca followed presumably by the All Blacks.

It's telling that my Facebook feed was full of people celebrating England's failure, with not a mention of celebration that wales had qualified. That's fine and to be expected. These people live in Wales though. They measure their worth not by their own achievements but by the failure of others.

I love that it hasn't even gone to the last weekend even though England have been given the scheduling advantage. I love it because each England pundit was going on about how they were unbeaten against Wales for years, I love it because of all the comments about games at the Millenium, I love it because of Brett Gosper's quote before the tournament began.

I also can't stand the small minded stuff but can recognise it being an achievement for Wales first and that English rugby comes across as even more entitled than the footballers.
