View Full Version : A minor point....
The national team have waited sixty years to qualify for a tournament so obviously we should play music over the full-time celebrations. We should make this music irrelevant to Wales, bonus points for playing it over the fans paying tribute to the sadly missed ex-manager/player who played a big part in the start of the journey, and if you can play it until the fans go quiet...marvellous.
I won't mention the "I'll read out first names then you shout out second names" thing.
There might be good reason or not for Ali not to come back but we haven't found his replacement yet.
Shouldah played Tina Turner, "Simply the Best" http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif
That was the most annoying part of a good night. The crowd was creating a great atmosphere and then they play a load of pop songs over it.
I can't understand who comes up with this and thinks it's a good idea! Everyone near us were moaning about it.
The shouting out second names thing was utterly embarrassing, who's idea was that? Total cringe fest.
Nobody knew who the feck Owain Fon Williams was the poor fellow.

If they were going to play music why not Salt and Pepper and Push it which had relevance to our campaign
At the end of Dortmund (and others) season they sit in front of the yellow wall and fans and players sing. I'm not sure together stronger has anything to do with how the announcer treated the full-time whistle last night.

I agree with every word of that, but are we typical of the 30,000 who were there last night? I'd like to think that we are, but could it be younger and more family orientated supporters think differently?

The shouting out second names thing was utterly embarrassing, who's idea was that? Total cringe fest.I remember the announcer did it at the Emirates when we played Arsenal. The hilarious thing was when he did it with Eduardo and boomed out 'Edu' for the crowd to shout 'ardo' lol http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

Nobody knew who the feck Owain Fon Williams was the poor fellow. The half time competition was equally as cringeworthy. 3 guesses by the contestants for Gary Speed - at least one of them was obviously wearing the current kit, and one didnt recognise our current manager. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/getmycoat.gif
