Good write-up, I feel your pain. I don't think we can expect too much with so many players out on loan and on international duty but the manner of the defeat didn't sound good at all. It's a bit alarming how we've suddenly run out of forwards at that level, Abdi Noor seems to have dropped out of the picture and it looks like we may have to go to the Academy if Phipps is injured. Where's Wharton gone again?As for Abdi Noor, he came on for the last half an hour or so on Monday, but didn't do a great deal - he had something about him when he used to play for the Under 18s, but he looked a better player when he first broke into the Under 21s than he does now.
