Where is Williams Motors? I saw About half of Dogwatch and the Rogue Traders conclusion. I thought he sounded a bit Welsh. I thought he sounded a total **** as well, bragging about his Ferrari and Lamborghini. Mind you he's not the only **** on that program. Very childish and self centred at times - a typical BBC offering.

That Matt Allright is going to come a cropper if he doesn't stop sticking his nosey beak into what don't concern him. I don't know, you can't even rip off the general public nowadays without some meddlesome git secretly filming you. It's political correctness gone mad I tell you.

Selling a car that is already on finance - to another finance company - and then not paying the original car owner - I think thats fraud

He has a terrible reputation, not just as a cowboy but incredibly rude too.

I've heard of similar stories to the one portrayed on Watchdog last night from friends. I've also been in there myself to look at a couple of cars when I was changing end of last year. Was interested in a 370z and his first questions were, "how old are you?" and "can you really afford it?". I went half a mile down the road to BMW and bought one they had in stock there the next day. Resisted the temptation to go back there and show him the custom he had lost.

I've also been approached by his son since then who offered to take the car from me to sell it on the forecourt http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

Apparently the blue Aventador he has for sale is actually still owned by Lamborghini, but having had it for sale for nearly 2 years now and way over the going rate I'm guessing he has no intention of selling it and would rather drive it himself and add miles to it! Can't blame him but not a good business model! http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

Also, the scene on Watchdog when they set him up for a meeting with the 'buyer & seller' might be the most awkward TV moment I've ever seen since 'The Office' - comedy gold!

Couldn't help but chuckle when the buyer and seller met in the showroom! TV gold!

Buying a new motor can be a murky business, I've always used Cardiff Cars and found them top notch

At least he squared up the people he owed money too thanks to the program.I also find it interesting that Wales Online that seems to report on any TV programme that has some link to Wales, regardless of how tenuous it may be, as well as all the usual rubbish appears to have missed the programme last night!

At least he squared up the people he owed money too thanks to the program. That's true enough, if he'd gone to the wall they'd get nothing. On the face of it he has taken the p*** but I'm not sure a few isolated cases who all got their money back warranted the show tbh there are certainly worse company practices that go on daily as I've been a victim too myself http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hardhat.gif

complete crook and would rather blame the banks for his business and cash flow problems as oppose his own shortcomings

You are right I rang him to see if he would sell a car for me yesterday and he was way too busy to take any calls. He keeps pestering me for the Renault Scenic i bought off you Jimmy. I think it's the double sunroof and leccy windows which makes it's such a steal http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/driving.gif http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/tong.gif
