On a side note, there is no such thing as "popping" to Whitchurch any more, it's become a grim ordeal where you get stuck at traffic lights, watching them change from red to green to red to green... then you've got to navigate the car park with its incredible lack of spaces and then you have to queue to get out again... makes you not want to go there.

http://imgur.com/QyuLZLG.pngThere is almost always space in the car park behind the Legion or most of the side streets if you are prepared to make a walk of about one minute, Bishops Road, St David's Road, Church Road etc. You could always use the regular bus service or of course you could walk or cycle.
