He just wasn't worth the money he was on. Apart from that he was a decent player and (nearly) always a goal-threat.

I liked him but this move is best for everyone.I hope the money saved is ploughed back into the team.

was he on 35 or 50 K a week ? ? ?

either way, he was poor value for money, always a threat, but also always looked like he was not putting in a full shift ( even a 1/2 shift at times ) and we love players who give all they have
