Buffon's World Cup medal came in 2006 and Champions league runner's up medal last year. 16 years of winning titles in respected competitions should put him high up on the list.

A few of the names listed made me chuckle but seeing Jamie Carragher's name amongst them is among the biggest jokes of all time. A decent player and a club stalwart but I would imagine he would struggle to be high up in the Liverpool list of greatest players!

In the world it would be Pele or John Charles. Not my words entirely but those of amongst others Di Stefano and Billy Wright. they probably knew quality when they saw it. Charles was just something else
