Remember the days when, if you didn't have a season ticket, you had to be a Gold member to guarantee getting a ticket for the next game?Remember the time fans accepted paying £50 (could have been worse, Leicester fans paid more) to only sit in a queue? And so many things on top of that.

Can you remind us all what season that was ? Big crowds, big name international players, stadium expansion, promotion to the Premier league... it was a golden era.

Club ringing to ask if i want to take a friend to the rotherham game.I got a similar call. I actually felt sorry for the guy from the ticket office who had to do this - what a sign of the times - reduced to what is effectively cold-calling ST holders. I will be taking up the offer though as my son is well aware of what is likely to be served up!
