Just a little advice on bring currency into the UK ? ??

whats the tax issues ? ? ?

would it need to be declared ?? ?

not sure if it makes a difference but it started in the UK then left for a Non-EU country

too little information but generally speaking there are no tax implications on bringing money in to the UK as long as it has been declared on tax returns previously. for example, if you have made some money from renting property and you now want to repatriate your surplus then as long as this has been declared you have nothing to worry about. if you've already paid tax on this income overseas then as long as the UK has a DTT in place you will get relief for this.

UK banks tend not to have controls on moving cash into or out of the UK so you should be able to sell your currency via your own bank. inform them in advance and you'll get a better rate than spot
