Private messaging help

I have somehow stopped the box from coming up saying I have a message, any ideas how to restore this feature? They are unnoticeable without it.

look at 'Notifications' at the top of the page. That says if you have any PM's.

Also at the top of the page is a link for 'Settings'

Go there and then choose 'General Settings' on the left. Under those options you can choose whether private messages send you pop ups to alert you

Try logging out and deleting your cookies too, I clicked the wrong thing when I first used it and stopped the pop ups but they came back when I did that, also if you have adblock and you try to open the pm in another window I think it blocks it, pressing cancel takes you to your inbox in the same window.
