the fa cup final used to be the centre piece of the footballing calender :thumbup:,, now it is an afterthought played on a saturday teatime with gary lineker and his mates chewing the cud.:hehe:

the traditions of the game were sacrificed long ago , the fact it could have gone to penalties is a joke without a replay, but never mind so long as multi millionaires like lineker and shearer are getting their wedge nothing else matters

i bet many a fan of football who watched the fa cup final religiously years ago, never even bothered switching on today. :thumbup:
