Budget of £1.7 million per year, five detectives and a team of 'volunteers'. Ignoring the fact that both budget and detectives could be more usefully employed, going after people who actually want to cause harm on our streets, the inclusion of anonymous 'volunteers' worries me. Who are they? There's no information released so far about who they are or where they come from, never mind what sort of unique specialist skills do they possess which qualify them to be included in this new police squad as 'volunteers'. My view is that it will be the 'volunteers' directing and guiding the police about who to go after on social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Football Message Boards, etc, etc.

The official line is they're hunting for bullies.

So the fifteen people arrested or questioned by police for criticising Israeli policies on Twitter will now be left alone?

The 'volunteers' will be looking for semi-antites online. You mark my words....
