Neil Warnock says it's nice to put a smile on the faces of the Cardiff City fans.

<p>"We are the biggest club in Wales, aren't we? It is nice to be the manager of that," said Warnock.</p>
<p>"It is nice to put smiles on people's faces. The atmosphere at the moment is very good and I do not think that is just at the club, but around the town."</p>
<p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="C:WindowsTempphp92A3.tmp" src="http://pictures.footymad.net/upload/120/897615-1.jpg" alt="C:WindowsTempphp92A3.tmp" width="500" height="281" /></p>
<p>Warnock revealed how he communicates with the hierarchy at Cardiff City starting with owner Vincent Tan.</p>
<p>"I spoke to him this week. I always speak to him, I ring him. I have not got a clue where he is, if I am honest, when I speak to him," Warnock said.</p>
<p>"I usually ring him first thing in the morning when I get here because I have a rough idea it will be afternoon or early evening somewhere where he is.</p>
<p>"Obviously I would imagine he is happy. He says he is enjoying the results, as everybody is. That is not rocket science really. Most of all the owners care about the results like we all do."</p>
<p>The boss also explained that he's being allowed to get on with the football side of things.</p>
<p><span>I only catch up with Mehmet (Dalman) every now and again. They're quite happy with that, they know I'm running the football side and I keep them up to date. Ken Choo is the one I speak to more."</span></p>
<p><span>Warnock is undefeated after three games in charge with two wins and a draw. Tomorrow he faces managerless Wigan Atrhletic at CCS looking to keep the improving form going.</span></p>

All good there, particularly letting the manager get on with his job and not interfering... long may that continue

What's really encouraging about that is that finally the business men are sticking to business and letting the football man get on with the football

Warnock just slipped this in without making a big deal of it. Can you imagine Slade saying it? He thought we were on a par with great teams like Wycombe. At last a manager saying what the fans want to hear, and sounding as though he believes it.

Speaking to a mate today who works with the players every day (non footballing) he says the mood in the camp is buzzing. All the players that have come in - only came here because of Warnock. Despite what people may think - he is extremely focused and detailed on what he wants and expects players to do - but makes it very easy for them to understand and knows exactly what buttons to press.

I guess we know most of that already - seeing the body language and performance of the players, but interesting to have it confirmed for real.

I heard they are loving training again and are buzzing too, this will only bread success....

You're right it isn't. We all wish we could have a club owned by local fans like you... Oh hang on, anyway at least you still have a fans trust that you can rely upon to look after your interests above their own... Oh hang on. By the fans for the fans. Ha ****ing ha.

Apparently we haven't been above them since the mi 90's??? Wasn't it 8 straight years from about 2000?
Watching them plummet is going to be amusing for the 10,000 newbie fans they found since promotion....
