I'm going the opposite way. Flying off to Salzburg on Christmas Eve and coming back via Vienna on Boxing Day. I had to get away from the Great Escape, Slade, The Queen's Speech and sprouts.

My flight to Baku this week was cancelled - so I re-booked next year to travel overland from there to Georgia and see Wales in Tblisi. Will pop into Armenia too if I can dodge all the areas of armed conflict.

Be careful with the Armenia thing!!! If you have an Armenian stamp in your passport the Azeri authorities will arrest you and put you on the next flight back out.
I believe it is the same the other way around.
People who work in the area and may need to visit both countries have 2 passports issued by HMG, and woe betide you if you give the wrong one to the wrong boarder guard!!

The Italian national team is being a bit harsh here, I think.

Me.
Got back last night for a welcome long break.
Problem is the Mrs has presented me with a list as long as Malky's rap sheet and a timetable for completion that even an owner of Leeds United would consider unreasonable.
Bugger it, cab for Heathrow please.
