Also could we have had a shout for sending off with the penalty?

Could have been red for pen but more mistimed than dangerous, McShane elbow on Healey should have been a red unlike Richards so called stamp which shows his foot bounce of the ball before it contacted with Reading players ankle.

It probably would have if he'd stayed down. Fair play to Healy he was up within a second.

I wondered this myself as it didn't seem the defender made any effort to get the ball. I think the ref overall bottled a couple of tricky decisions that another ref would have punished more severely.

On balance probably not a sending off, but not ridiculous to question whether it could have been
