Since when has there been an open jacket policy when entering the Family Stand.?

Apparently it's Been in place since 'cos of what happened in Paris'
Has it bollox - that's the first time I've been asked to open my coat.

Cheeky jobsworth steward said 'well you obvious haven't been to many games then'.

I don't know about the family stand but it has been in place in other parts of the ground for ages. Have you been to a game recently?

Plenty thanks. The Fulham game was the first game I've missed in about 18 months.

I'm sure there were some club officials keeping a beady eye on the stewards tonight so they were out to impress.

I was thinking the same tonight going into the grandstand. Feeling full up with a cold, big coat on, coffee in one hand, trying to fish my ST out with the other and I'm asked to open my coat I'll admit I was feeling a bit grumpy but my "do I look like a fecking terrorist?" was met with a laugh.

It wouldn't be so bad if they actually checked properly - I could've had a gun in a shoulder holster for all the steward could see.
