I recorded a gig last week using a Zoom H2 portable recorder. I did have the permission of the singer by the way to 'bootleg' the concert. The recording is ok and not distorted but sounds a little dull and flat. Is there a piece of software that will automatically brighten the sound or is there an easy real-time equaliser programme I can use to make it sound a bit more equalised?

Thanks in advance.

This is how it sounds - you will see what I mean by it being a bit dull and flat.

If you are interested the group is Massive Wagons - they were superb live and this song is superb if you like this kind of music.

Vimana.

You may need an Exciter. Don't we all ;)

Here's some comparisons.

Have you tried Audacity? http://www.audacityteam.org

For some reason Audacity screws up my computer - it stops music playing through the soundcard and unless I delete it I can't play any sounds at all.

Thanks for that but I think that is for someone a bit cleverer than me!
