They won't care too much. They could be celebrating promotion that day.

Fek the fans.

That's about the strength of it.

Then again it's not about the fans that attend games but those who go to the pub.

The only plus point is that I can now go as was attending a wedding on the Saturday in Bridgend. However, probably not much consolation to all those dragging themselves down from Tyneside having had to take a day off work.

Thinly veiled I'm going on holiday post IMO.

I thought people in Tyneside don't have work to take a day off from. :hide:

Pubs in Canton will be gutted, would have been a bumper pay day on the Saturday.

I think the club have used up their quota of games they can do this offer on.

The league only allow 3 games a season, I think.

The only way that's even possible is if they get the whole of the red stand, plus the whole away end

The club should sell the tickets to proper fans who want to pay the full price and prepared to travel a couple of hundred miles on a Friday night to support their team. I'd let Newcastle buy 15000 if they wanted them.

Give the Geordies exactly the same number of tickets they allowed us and no more.

Oh great, thanks SKY, so I get to miss attending the last home game of the season as well now - was really looking forward to this game. Ironically this is my last season as an ST holder too, as I can no longer afford to miss so many matches combined with the increasing cost of getting to the CCS. Next year would have been my 40th as a "regular"!

"Newcastle United have reportedly demanded a huge allocation for their trip to Cardiff City in April"

The cheek of it!
Give 'em as many as they gave us and offer the same view of the game as they offer visiting fans... make them view it through binoculars the wrong way round!

The pubs in Canton will probably make more money with a Friday game. Those Newcastle fans will start travelling Thursday night/early hours Friday morning / arrive in time for lunch and carry on drinking through the day.
