There is absolutely no need. Computers scan the images these days, it's how we find new asteroids , you take a wide field image one night, and a few nights later take another image.
If any of the objects move then it's moving itself. Bingo. New asteroid etc

According to some scientific fella on BBC breakfast tv this morning, in this instance owing to the quality of the pictures computers cannot be used

We'll Mr science fella better get better quality camera then cos if computer can't find it , the people won't.

You will be given access to the pictures that they have taken where you can look at them and mark them off if there's no planet on them.
