Wales Online showing a clear mis understanding of the transfer deadline. Apparently we are making a last minute 'swoop' for Ledley?

As he's out of contract , and his contract was cancelled before the transfer dealing, he is a free agent and we can sign a free agent at any time irrespective of the transfer deadline. So no there is no need to be 'last minute' as we could sign him tomorrow , or Saturday or anyday if he's still free.
It may help that he's in Cardiff with the Wales squad at the moment too. it's clear nobody else seem to want him so he'll have to step down to the Championship.
