"WOODY", seems to have us and "OUR NEIL", stereotyped :hehe:

Isn't it funny how peoples' perception of us seems to have a similar feel and couldn't be further off the mark. Probably due to our very little coverage on all tv programmes. Long may that continue and we surprise them.

His final quip about Neil I had to smile about mind. It was much like my view of him before he came here.

Perception is powerful and shows humans can be very gullable, that's why sound bite politics works so well

I almost want to sign up to their forum to try and explain that the comments made about the number of foreign players which they presume is made my a Brexiteer were actually made by the fAnS lEAdEr who lives in Majorca!

It will be a fascinating game.

Fulham are an excellent side, and will be up there at the end of the season.
At their best last year I'd say they were the best team in the division. Nobody else hit the peaks that they did.

However, they haven't started that brilliantly so far, and you'd have thought that we would be the kind of team that they won't want to play. Teams who go there to try to play fancy intricate football will be given a lesson. We will be playing direct, powerful, fast football, so hopefully they won't be as comfortable with that.

I think whoever gets the first goal will be very important.

"other than Zohore there is nothing in their team to be majorly feared "
They obviously haven"t heard of NM-L then :ayatollah:

Fulham are good. Athletically we can challenge them. Not to say we cant play good football because we really can but I agree most teams will struggle to match an on song Fulham . Opposing fans are puzzled by Cardiff's start I think. They look at they're players then look at ours and maybe think they have more quality. Its the sum of the parts they might not be seeing.

The thing I hate most about **** is people always come across that board first and think we are all like that

Reading that forum you wouldn't blame them. It was the first forum (never joined) that I came across. They appear to hate everything and everyone outside of their little box.

Some of them saying Cairney is a big doubt. Hope that`s the case he`s a great player.

If we start getting worried about playing teams like Cardiff we will have really hit rock bottom...

Aye. They've won 1 of our last 8 league games btw.

I'm happy keeping under the radar
it could be worse I gotta deal with cockney and Kent folk mentioning man utd and Chelsea as "we" and "us" all the time
so I ask (as you do) must cost a fortune following them living down here ?
you must do mainly away trips then ?
we all know what answers I get back lol
so id much rather Fulham fans think they the dogs bollocks
as apposed to plastic facks who have never been within 50 miles of the ground of the team they "support" let alone been in the facker
sorry rant over lol

I think given the pundits forecast of where we would be this season it is only natural for teams to think our current status is a false one, lets be fair, it has surprised us enough. Additionally when a team is where we are the only way is down and everyone wants to be the side that begins the slide.

All the team can do is keep on playing they way they are and getting the results, it will slowly sink in with the opostion that it is not just a proverbial flash in the pan, but until it does let them do the talking before the game and then see how the talk after it. I would be happy with a draw normally at the Cottage but still want us to keep our 100% record.
Even if we lose I think we will still give a good account of ourselves and change a few more minds in the process.

Malone was in one of the teams of the season though and they ended up selling him for £5million quid. Not sure anyone will be offering us £5 million for Jazz anytime soon.
Although to be fair to him, he has never let us down particularly.
