@toadstool
I saw Bellamy play for us when we went up 2012/13 but Bothroyd and Chopra were ridiculous.
Robert Earnshaw was before my time (unfortunately!) but remember when he did come back

No - just caught in a landslide with no escape from reality.

Hard to say , but personally I’d have to put Earnshaw and Kavanagh in any best Cardiff side that I’ve seen. Ramsey when he came back on loan was on a different level too.

Yes slipped the old memory block of wood, would be in place of James Collins. A great servant and player but not as good a centre half as Danny Malloy.

A good selection for the older members of this board. I like the selection of Greg Farrell, his performance in the 5-3 win over Middlesbrough in 1966 is still the greatest individual performance in a City shirt I have seen. I would have found a place for Peter Hooper after his one glorious season.

What about Ian Gibson and possibly Phil Dwyer. Someone above mentioned Don Murray. No chance. He couldn't even kick the ball properly as he was probably the only professional footballer to kick the ball with his toes. He was great at fouling but would never survive in today's game.

Glad the Bennett brothers got a mention. I would also have Ron Healey (GK), Phil Dwyer (Def), Cohen Griffith (Mid F), John Buchanan (Mid F), and Phil Stant (Striker).

Gary Bell was the best full back I've seen.
Willie Anderson and Dave Bennett were top end wingers.
Tony Evans best goal poacher we had .
Leighton Phillips was a class act.
Peter King would be in any side.
Bothyroyd possible the most gifted we had .
Phil Dwyer was so strong .
Chopra on his day.
Ron Healey RIP a god.
Toshack best centre forward .
If we are talking ex players how about John Charles and Gerry Francis
Davies carver Bell Sutton Murray Harris king gibson Toshack Clark and bird not the best team but the one from my youth and my favourite of all time:ayatollah:

I'm in my 30s there certainly seems to be a number of cbs available young Collins gabbidon Johnson loovens hudson vidmar along with the 3 there.
Keepers for me.it's Marshall only other option would be hallworth
Rb I'd go delaney never really been a massive McNaughton fan personally or I suppose could go for Manga or Gabbidon who both done OK there.
Cb id go Gabbidon and Bamba it's a personal choice but definitely the toughest one. I even think Caulker was decent when he was here.
Lb Legg used to love him he was pretty much motm every other game for a few seasons. I did actually like Taylor as well and Bennett
Rm Koumas head and shoulders above anyone first time around
CM im going to say Whitts and Ramsey however there's obviously Kav there and Mutch was outstanding when he was on the pitch.
LM Bellamy again like Koumas was probably too good for us especially in the championship.
ST Earnshaw and Bothroyd.
Obviously dale and stand were around when I first went but my heart probably wasn't in it to have a massive affiliation. Chopra was just as good as Earnshaw but you couldn't help but love Earnie.
