Is that what happened? I though he agreed a £200,000 discount on the fee of £5 million, if Arsenal paid in full and up front, rather than over a period of seasons.

Emery seems a good manager and Arsenal may be on their way back up, however what a strange club it has been recently. Super-massive wages for players who either a) play as individuals b) don't show up frequently enough or c) start on the bench and fans who don't have a clue.
