He's higher up the line of succession to the throne than English ranked centre forwards

Best striker I’ve ever seen down the City

I honestly can't imagine a better strike partnership than Chopra and Bothroyd. Was Jones trying not to get promoted or something? If we had the two of them now we'd finish in the top 10! :hehe:

My favourite city player frustrating at times falling over but he did win his fair share of free kicks, I thought he was awesome and really should’ve made it in the premier league

Ah the good old days with the big man little man combo.
Best striker ive seen at the club.
Jones deserves credit for getting the best out of him.
Wasnt he a late replacement for Marcus Bent.?
I wonder how history would have panned out if wed have signed Bent.

Yes he had fantastic technique. He could hit the ball incredibly cleanly.

Fantastic player. Could be SO frustrating at times, but what a talent.
So many moments of magic from him, Whittingham, Chopra in that side, but too much inconsistency and a soft underbelly that we didn’t have with Malky and Neil
Ex Wolves player😁 I used to take bets with my son as to how long it would take for him to be sat on his backside doing his laces up....usually 3/4 minutes after kick off. Bothroyd could have sold advertising on the soles of his boots given the amount of time he was on his backside. But...when it clicked, it clicked big time and he was one of our best strikers. Strange but true, Mrs D used to work with his stepmum in Wolverhampton.

Him and legg have been my 2 favourite players. It's strange as anybody who looks st his career will just see a championship journeyman striker but I think Cardiff fans will see him as so much more.
Just read those comments!
They even have the same chant for him at the end of the video
