Advance Warning - Bridge closed Westbound for roadworks from 20:00 on Saturday 23rd March until 06:00 Monday 25th March 2018 on M4 Prince of Wales Bridge Westbound between J22 M49 and J23 M48. Detour in operation - via the M48 Severn Bridge. Will affect traffic travelling from England into Wales.

Thanks for the heads up. Leaving in plenty of time tomorrow as I want to park in the Stadium carpark otherwise it’s often a nightmare to park up.

I normally use the old bridge anyway. just as quick because when both are open that road is quiet and you can fly down it quite safely. I know guys who drive for a living out of a base in Newport and they all use the old bridge.
