I'm reading the word "enigmatic" a lot in obituaries for him - great voice.

RIP Scott. His work in later life, in my view, was far more interesting than his 60s pop songs. A very creative and individual musician.

I wasn't aware of his later work but just found this little ditty.

That's very good, once you've cracked the pop market there aren't many places left to go for most performers, but some do find an alternative avenue for their expression.
A very talented and unique artist. He truly has left an influential legacy.
Great voice for ballads.
RIP
What a great singer. Brings back so many great memories.

Quite amazing how he made the musical journey from being a teen pop idol with this astonishing Jack Jones crooner type voice to making bleak experimental avant garde music about death and isolation. 'Climate of Hunter' is a brilliant, disturbing album.
He had this powerful soaring voice making delivery seem effortless. RIP Scott
