I think they are what's known in the business as bastards.

That Alex guy is like a ****ing bond villian. Shows how much our election laws need to be changed. The problem is the "tech guys" are always going to know so much more than the guys who make the laws. And that's how they managed to baffle them when it cameto the committees.
