I imagine the funds will go towards what we still owe Bristol for him

Selling Bobby Reid in a last minute deal was the beginning of the end for Warnock! Hopefully Harris has a better scouting system and won’t waste any money Tan gives him?

The biggest problem in modern day football is buying the player everyone craves a bargain basement striker , you now see fee's of 6 million and upwards for championship strikers on crazy wages , the striker pool clubs fish in is becoming smaller and rarer, forcing the prices up of half decent and even poor strikers .

Too right there.
Bobby Reid was a good championship striker nothing more IMHO.

I thought he was good. Though didn't strike me as an out and out striker. If we had signed two more players of his quality, we could have been on the way to a decent little team.

It’s interesting that this was widely reported as a £10m fee in the summer but now is reported to be ‘undisclosed’

Wonder if we’ve given Fulham a big discount in order to stave off the ‘bankruptcy’ of the Sala fee

Would love a Bobby Reid in our current team.

Think its 7 of 8 million plus 4 million if they go up , I thought be was lightweight and over valued , with a poor attitude, as is Murphy .

I always thought he played really well when given a chance even in a team the didn’t suit his style of play.

You can’t blame him for wanting out imo, Warnock paid big bucks for him thé didn’t know how to use him.
