Drops both experienced centre halves for today's home game against Wolves.

Concede three in a 3-2 loss and get run ragged.

He and Tottenham deserve each other.

Spurs currently losing 2-0 (agg 3-0) away to Leipzig and getting a pasting in the first 25 minutes.

I wonder who gets the public lashing from the special one tonight. I'll go for Lloris.

He should have done better on that second goal. Spurs are getting battered though. I'd suggest that Mourinho is not a good man manager. Because he's such a tw@t.

Leipzig are a good team, I've watched most of their games this season. I wish Cardiff could play like that.

I do think it's refreshing that they are going for more goals rather than the "keep it tight" attitude of many of the teams we have become accustomed to watching week in week out.

Attack the best form of defence. Like the good old days.

They don't pay a lot for players either, but they are very well coached, and they sell the best ones for Megabucks. It was a smart move by Ampadu going there for a season at his age.

Mourinho is neither a good man manager nor tactical manager.
His defensive ideology, which has been the basis for his success over the years, is being well and truly exposed, and not just tonight.

He used to be good, but football has moved on and Pep, Klopp, Nagelsmann, etc., are now on a different level tactically. Even Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal have fallen behind.

Can't wait for Mourinho to explain this one away.

Hard to argue against any of that.

Out of curiosity, would anyone have Mourinho here as manager?

I think a lot of that is due to them having inferior players

Leipzig pay Cardiff City level prices for young players and they develop them in-house. It's 100% down to the coaching and the tactical drills. Leipzig don't even have team talks before a match, it's all done on the training pitch, and then the players get the tactical game plan put on their phones a few days before the match.

For entertainment value, yes!

I might almost be worth it just to see him humiliated. But my answer is no.

He said he can't blame the players, they gave all they could.
It could be argued that Mourinho gave all he can. It's just not enough.

He looked a beaten man in the game and that interview.

Nagelsmann's interview on the other hand...

Even Hoddle was struggling to explain the tactical differences after the game. Teams like Leipzig spend months repeating drills so that every player knows exactly what to do in every given situation. They make it look easy but a lot of hard work goes into it.
