Electrician hourly rate ?

Anyone have an idea of what the going rate for an electrician is per hour. Had some work done and charged at £50 an hour. Google search suggests it’s about right but wasn’t sure it met this was the case for Cardiff. Cheers.

Probably about right for tradesmen as my father in law had to pay a plumber £45 an hour and I paid an electrician £40 to change some light switches.

In work we get charged £25-30 an hour
