He was an inventor on three patents related to guitars:
A folding prop to support a guitar in a flat position.
A tension-adjusting tailpiece.
Ornamental design for a headstock
Incredible guitar player and made his own guitar ‘Frankenstrat’.
Seen him supporting Bon Jovi in the old Arms Park.
RIP Eddie
I saw him with Van Halen supporting Black Sabbath at Hammersmith Odeon in June 1978. It was a great gig, playing tracks off their first album. I remember nothing about Sabbath and only know they were the headliners through the use of Google

What a riff, a fantastic guitarist
But backed by a superb drummer , bassist and frontman
RIP. Legend. He completely changed the game. As did Van Halen.
I remember the Millwall singing Van halen jump to us the season after one of ours fell off the top tier.

we had the whole of that top tier and there were indeed a lot of drunk people
The lad who fell was to the right of me . I had a look at the fall later and he's lucky to be alive . Fair play to the police and stewards , got to him straight away

Yeah he was to the right of me too sludge, I thought he would be killed then I realised there was no wall fans in that section so luckily he escaped with a broken wrist.
